GENERAL POLICIES
Biodiversity Policy
Legislation came into force in January 2024 requiring Parish Councils to develop a policy detailing actions it intends to take as part of its duty to enhance the biodiversity across the Parish and wider environment. This document was developed in consultation with community organisations such as the Parachial Church Council.

Data Protection:
GDPR came into force in May 2018. The council undertakes to comply with this legislation. The documents were approved in 2018 and are updated and/or reviewed yearly. Enquiries should be directed to the Parish Clerk in the first instance.

Contracts:
The Parish Council has a contract with ‘Town & Parish Council Websites’ for the provision and hosting of its website. The initial set up cost was £530, with an annual hosting charge of £120 paid in advance every April. In March 2024, the hosting charge increased to £170 per annum.
The Parish Council purchased a Defibrillator from Zoll/Cardiac Science in October 2018 costing £1,620 + VAT. The unit itself has an 8 year warranty and a 4 year contract was initially in place covering its insurance and one replacement. The defibrillator is now included in the general insurance policy that the Parish Council has in place.
Grants Received:
The Parish Council received a grant of £625 from Cotswold District Council in September 2018 for the defibrillator detailed above.
The Parish Council received a grant of £1,067 from GAPTC in FY 2016-17, for the establishment and hosting of a website. After initial costs, the residual grant was held in reserve to pay for hosting in subsequent years.
